The Mercer County Crime Stoppers are seeking information about the cause of a fire that occurred at 1716 110th Ave Aledo. 
 
On March 22nd 2020 during the early evening hours, the Aledo Fire Department was called to a fire scene where a house trailer was on fire. The residence was unoccupied.

The Mercer County Crime Stoppers are currently seeking information on the theft of a dump trailer. 
 
On February 28th 2020 The Mercer County Sheriff's Department took a report of a trailer theft. The trailer was taken from a property in Sherrard.  The trailer is shown in the picture below.

February 19, 2020

The Mercer County Crime Stoppers are currently seeking information about a series of burglaries to campers located at the Shady Lakes Campground south of New Windsor. 
 
On the evening of February 17th 2020 the Mercer County Sheriff's Department took numerous reports of burglaries to campers. Several televisions were taken during the burglaries as well as other items.

The Mercer County Crime Stoppers are currently seeking information regarding a residential burglary that occurred during the evening hours of December 18th, at a residence on 58th Street in Mercer County. 
 
The victim reported several firearms missing as well as a television and other items.

August 15, 2019

The Mercer County Crime Stoppers are currently seeking information about a series of burglaries in the Village of Matherville. On July 31st and again during the late night hours of August 14th several burglaries have been reported. Several cars have been entered as well as garages and outbuildings. 
 
Several items have been taken including fishing equipment, electronic equipment, currency and alcohol. 
 
Crime Stoppers would like to remind the public to please keep your vehicles, residences and outbuildings locked.

May 29, 2019

The Mercer County Crime Stoppers are currently seeking information about a burglary. 
 
On 05-29-19 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m an unknown subject or subjects entered the concession stand at the Apollo concession stand. Damage was caused to the property and food products were also taken.

Theft
May 27, 2019

The Mercer County Crime Stoppers are currently seeking information about a recent theft. 
 
On two occasions the flowers from the Museum in New Boston have been taken. The first theft occurred during the week of May 13th. The second theft occurred this past week of May 20th. 
 
These flowers were purchased and donated to the museum by a local resident, and they were planted by a group of 30 students from the New Boston Elementary School.

The Mercer County Crime Stoppers are currently seeking information on the suspect or suspects responsible for the recent vandalism at the Mercer County Fair Grounds.
 
 
On 10-19-18 it was discovered that someone had spray painted on one of the buildings at the fair grounds.

Burglary
October 19, 2018

The Mercer County Crime Stoppers are requesting the public's help with identifying the following subject.
 
On October 13th 2018 at approximately 2:03 a.m., This male subject entered an outbuilding at a residence near Preemption and took a gas can containing approximately 5 gallons of gasoline.
